Bob Carter

Bob Carter is Chairman of the Brussels Interoperability Group (BIG) that operates under the authority of the EU Article 6 Committee. The BIG is responsible for establishing harmonisation within Europe for the EAC protocols and for demonstrating EAC in operation.

Since early 2004 Bob has been working with the Identity and Passport Service and was responsible for the PKI implementation for the first biometric e-passport. Bob is currently engaged in defining the PKI technical requirements and chip requirements for the 2nd Biometric Passport and other related Identity Products.
